XinniX is a Colombian rock duo that we formed in Bogotá in 2018 next to Mad Kat  on the vocals and bass. The band was known for crafting a powerful and emotionally charged sound without the use of guitars. Blending elements of punk, metal, blues, and alternative rock. We have built an identity around raw honesty, intense atmospheres, and lyrics that explore themes of heartbreak, inner turmoil, and social unrest.

The name—derived from a palindrome linked to Nix, the Greek goddess of the night—reflects the project’s fascination with duality, darkness, and human vulnerability. Since releasing their self‑titled debut album, XinniX has developed a distinctive sonic footprint defined by distorted bass riffs, dynamic drumming, and vocals that shift between melodic tension and visceral release. Their music also channels the political and social realities of Colombia, capturing both personal catharsis and collective frustration. This debut album captured its intensity and positioned XinniX as one of the most unconventional acts in the local rock landscape, leading to performances in Europe and appearances on major Colombian stages. 

After several years of creative exploration and live shows, we called the project in an indefinite hiatus, marking a pause in its trajectory while preserving the legacy of a duo that challenged traditional formats and carved out a unique space within the country’s independent music scene.
