The Brainwash Machine is a Colombian progressive metal band formed in Bogotá, known for its technical, conceptual sound and influences from Dream Theater, Opeth, and Pain of Salvation. 

Their album Modern Day Sisyphus (2011) solidified their identity within the Latin American progressive scene. I had the opportunity to be part of the lineup that performed at Rock al Parque 2018, as well as numerous shows in Bogotá, contribuiting the precision and strength that enhanced the band’s live performance while deepening my understanding of music in irregular time signatures.
